Man to stand trial in iPod slaying case
PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh man will stand trial on charges he shot and killed a man in an argument over an iPod. Darin Davis, 20, is charged with homicide in the July 21 death of 31-year-old Jason Glenn, of McKees Rocks.
Detective Thomas Foley testified at a preliminary hearing Friday that Davis told police Glenn offered him an iPod in exchange for drugs. Foley said Davis took the iPod but said he didn't have any drugs.
According to police, Davis got a gun and began shooting.
