PENN TWP— The Brucker family will hold a music festival at 1 p.m. Saturday at 251 Dodds Road to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western Pennsylvania.

The festival will include performances from four bands, a Chinese auction and raffles. The funds raised will help a local patient's wish come true. To donate, call 724-321-3472.

BUTLER TWP— The Paul Laurence Dunbar Community Center, 501 Fairground Hill Road, will hold an end-of-summer picnic and dessert auction at 3:45 p.m. Saturday. The auction will begin at 5 p.m. and a covered dish dinner will be served at 6 p.m.For more information, call 724-287-5648.

BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center will hold a family program to investigate wetlands at 10 a.m. Saturday. Participants will spend the morning learning about wetland creatures.The program will begin inside the center and move to various wetlands. Call 724-794-6011 for information.

The Red Cross will hold a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Monday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church fellowship hall, 201 W. Jefferson St.Call Elaine at 724-287-8439 to sign up.

CLEARFIELD TWP— The A.D. and Myrtle Smith family will hold a reunion from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Happy Hunters Sportsman Club on Clearfield Road.Participants are to take a tureen.

MARS— The after-school program of the Mars United Methodist Church has openings for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. The program provides snacks, activities and homework help for children. For more information, call the church at 724-625-1488.

SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock Heritage Association is seeking crafters, food vendors and flea marketers for it's 23rd annual festival.The festival will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 28 on the Slippery Rock University campus.For more information, call 724-738-2869.

CABOT — Concordia Lutheran Ministries Rehabilitation Services at the Lund Care Center in Cabot is seeking volunteers to help its physical therapy staff.Volunteers are welcome to choose morning or afternoon hours any weekday.
