Fumo co-defendant set to plead guilty
PHILADELPHIA — Another co-defendant of indicted state Sen. Vincent Fumo plans to enter a plea before the Philadelphia powerbroker's upcoming trial.
Court records show computer technician Mark Eister of Camp Hill is scheduled for a plea hearing Tuesday. It's not clear if he plans to cooperate.
The indictment charges Eister with conspiracy and obstruction for allegedly destroying e-mail evidence in Fumo's Harrisburg office.
Co-defendant Leonard Luchko will cooperate after admitting last week he performed similar chores at Fumo's district office.
Fumo faces a Sept. 8 trial on charges he defrauding the Senate, a nonprofit and a museum.
