CONNOQUENESSING TWP — St. Fidelis Children's Hour is accepting registration for the 2008-2009 school year. HARMONY — The Harmony Museum will hold a German dinner with seatings at 4:30 and 6 p.m. Aug. 16 at the museum, 218 Mercer St.The menu will include beef rouladen, assorted sausages, chicken cordon bleu, sauerkraut, spaetzle (German pasta), German potato salad, red cabbage, garden vegetables, cucumber and tomato basil salads, assorted breads and rolls, and homemade desserts. BUTLER TWP— The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will host the Pennsylvania Game Commission elk program at 7 p.m. Thursday at Alameda Park Carousel Shelter.The program will teach participants about the location and behavior of elk.
SUGAR CREEK TWP, Armstrong County — The Sugarcreek Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold a soup and bread sale Tuesday at the fire hall, 110 Rodgers Road, off of Route 268.Soups will be vegetable beef and turkey noodle.
