Families in need are invited to the Family First Resource Center to select school clothes and other free items during the fourth annual back to school clothing drive from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 13 at the center, 216 N. Washington St. Attendees are asked to enter the side door on West Locust Street.

Clothing in all sizes, school supplies, backpacks, accessories and shoes will be available.

SAXONBURG — Animal Partners of Butler County will offer a rabies clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 16 at Knoch High School. Dogs and cats will be given a one-year shot only unless a prior rabies certificate is presented. Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers. All animals must be at least 13 weeks old.
