NEW CASTLE — A patrolman is on leave on charges he had sex with two teenage girls and gave them alcohol at his home.

Thirty-five-year-old Richard Corbin has worked for the New Castle police since 1998. He patrolled New Castle Junior-Senior High School as part of his duties when the alleged sexual contact took place in January.

State police say Corbin gave the girls, then 15 and 13, a ride in his car. Instead of taking them to their destination, he offered them alcohol. One girl said she had several shots of flavored vodka before having sex with Corbin.
