Man charged for threat on plane

PITTSBURGH — A man has been charged by Allegheny County police for allegedly telling a flight attendant about a bomb aboard a plane departing Pittsburgh International Airport.

Police are not identifying the man who is charged with disorderly conduct, but say he may also be charged by federal authorities.

An airport spokeswoman says the man made the comment while his connecting flight to Newark was still on the ground Wednesday afternoon.
