Charges sought in day care killing
PITTSBURGH — The mother of an infant killed at a Pittsburgh day care center last month says an adult should be held responsible.
Bray's Family Day Care closed about two weeks after police say a 7-year-old girl killed an infant. The girl suspected of killing Rhonda Moore's daughter faces a dependency hearing and remains in county custody.
The alleged killer took Moore's 10-month-old daughter from a baby chair and threw her to the floor June 6.
The suspect's grandmother ran the center, but was running an errand at the time while another caregiver was upstairs changing a diaper.
