DUBOIS — A Clearfield County businessman is dead after collapsing while chasing a man who tried to break in.

DuBois police say 58-year-old Edward Walko surprised 25-year-old Justin Powers when Powers tried to break into Walko's restaurant and bar early Saturday morning.

Police say Powers ran off, but Walko chased him and collapsed during that chase. He got away, but witnesses gave police a detailed description and he was later arrested.

Powers wasn't charged in Walko's death, but police say that could change.
