The Seneca Valley and Knoch softball teams have learned their WPIAL first-round playoff assignments.
SV (14-5) received a first-round bye in Class AAAA and will face the winner of Tuesday's game between Hempfield and Kiski Area at a date, time and site to be determined.
In Class AAA play, Knoch (15-3) will face Ambridge (11-8) at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Seneca Valley's field.
