Terris runs double duty in Boston
BOSTON — Hundreds of hardy volunteers are working both the U.S. Olympic trials and the Boston Marathon.
So is Wendy Terris.
The 38-year-old marathoner from Milwaukie, Ore., completed the trials in 2 hours, 55 minutes, 28 seconds on Sunday. She needs to recover quickly, because she was planning to head to Hopkinton on Monday for another 26.2 miles on the pavement.
