'Oklahoma!'

Kathleen Carter portrays Laurey and Nic Greenfield plays Curly in Grove City High School's production of "Oklahoma!" The musical will begin at 7 p.m. April 10 to 12. Tickets cost $7 and $5 for students and senior citizens.

Grove City High School will present the musical "Oklahoma!" at 7 p.m. April 10 to 12 in the high school auditorium on Main Street.

Tickets will be sold for $7 or $5 for students and seniors.

With music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein, the story is based on the 1931 play by Lynn Riggs "Green Grow the Lilacs," which depicts the story of cowboy Curly McLain and his romance with a farm girl, Laurey Williams.

Directors for the show include Matt Nichols as stage director, Amy Nichols as assistant director and David Barron as musical director.

The show is being choreographed by Shelia Purich, with Elizabeth Barron as musical coordinator and Andrew Bonnar as student director. David Gomola is student technical director.
