CARNEGIE — The Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall in Carnegie will get $100,000 from the Allegheny Foundation.
The grant brings the library closer to its goal of raising $8.6 million to help with the revitalization and economic development of Carnegie.
Carnegie was battered by a flood in 2004. A year later, a fire destroyed three 100-year-old buildings in the town.
