Vox Energy Solutions

As fossil fuel prices increase, Vox Energy Solutions is working to minimize the effect on customers' wallets.

The company of Allison Park, founded in 2002, offers consultation, sales and installation of renewable energy systems which produce electricity for residential and commercial use.

Local governments and schools can reap the benefits as well. Vox is working with Green Tree Borough to install a system to power its community park.

Vox employs 10 people, and offers wind, solar electric and solar hot water systems.

Vox systems can lower both fossil fuel consumption and total operating costs. Incentives from federal and state governments can help lower the up-front cost, and Vox's installation and maintenance ensures a worry-free renewable energy experience.

Renewable energy systems are sized to meet a customer's specific needs and can replace any portion of their conventional electric load. Customers can chose whether to maintain their connection to the electric grid or to store excess electricity in a battery bank.

In a grid-tied system, electricity returns to the grid and is credited to the customer's meter. A solar thermal unit can provide hot water to fill floorboard heaters, showers or swimming pools.
