Horses owned by the
Butler Brewery pose in this photograph taken outside the brewery on Negley Avenue, near where Hutchinson Dry Cleaning is today. It was just one of several breweries in the county at the time. Butler's first brewery, opened in 1950 by Andrew Miller, was on Morton Avenue.
