DuBOIS— Karns City senior forward Cameron Turner was added to the boys roster of the ninth annual Alice R. Kozel Foundation District 9 All-Star Game.

The boys and girls all-star games will be played March 29 at Penn State-DuBois. The girls game is at 4 p.m., the boys game at 6.

Turner averaged 14.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.2 steals per game for the Gremlins this season.

NATRONA HEIGHTS— Eight Butler County high school basketball players will participate in the A-KValley Classic Saturday night at Highlands High.Knoch's Kristen Gagen, Rob Briggs and Kyle Reiser, Freeport's Jordan Dunn and Samantha Campbell, and Mars' Ellen Kenitz, Steve Cress and Dave Patruska will play in the games.The girls game begins at 6 p.m., the boys game at 8. Friday night's skills competition — including 3-point shooting, hot shot and coed hot shot contests — begin at 7.Tickets are $5 at the door.
