RICKY GARRETT (Grove City College) was named Presidents' Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week. The freshman and No. 5 singles player posted a 3-6, 6-2, 10-8 win in a match with Oberlin last week.•

STEVE STEPANIAN (Butler), a freshman on the Mercyhurst College hockey team, was voted to the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League's all-rookie team. He scored eight points and was a strong two-way forward and penalty killer for the Lakers.•

STACEY RHOADES (Slippery Rock University), a senior shortstop-pitcher, was named the PSACWest Women's Softball Player of the Week. She helped The Rock get off to a 9-1 start by posting a 3-0 record and a 1.65 earned run average, hitting .440 with four homers, two doubles and 13 RBI and stealing nine bases in as many attempts.
