MONICA GLOMB (Mars), a freshman on the Kutztown University softball team, struck out eight batters against Chowan (N.C.) at the SCADSmash Hit Spring Break Tournament in Savannah, Ga. Wednesday to improve her record to 3-2 for the Golden Bears (14-4), who are ranked No. 12 in Division II.
