Seneca Valley High School will perform the musical "Pippin" at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 29 and March 1, 7 and 8 at the intermediate high school auditorium, 124 Seneca School Road. A matinee also will be performed at 2 p.m. March 2.

Based on the book by Roger Hirson and with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the story centers around young Prince Pippin, who seeks true happiness and fulfillment in various places before finding it with home and family.

The show will be directed by Aaron Magill, who also serves as producer and vocal director. The show was choreographed by Amanda Martin, with Nathan Brewer as stage director and Bruce Smith as orchestra director.
