SUGARCREEK TWP — An organizational meeting for the Sugarcreek Community Day will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Community Church, 2167 Route 268.

The Sugarcreek Community Coalition has received a $5,000 grant from the Sprout Foundation to renew the community day.

Barbershop quartets offer valentines

The Greater Cranberry Barbershop Chorus has announced that men's quartets will be available Wednesday and Thrusday to deliver singing valentines in the Butler County and North Hills areas.

The Butler Area Dancers will host a Valentine Dance Saturday at 129 E. Cunningham St.Slow dance lessons will be offered from 8 to 9 p.m. Dancing will continue until midnight.Music will be provided by a disc jockey.

LYNDORA — The Tanglewood Center has announced that reservations are accepted for its catered luncheons and card parties held the second Saturday of each month at the center, 10 Austin Ave.Tickets for the luncheon and card play must be purchased in advanced at the Tanglewood office or during Tanglewood events. Those who do not make reservations can pay admission for card play at the door and will not receive a lunch.

ADAMS TWP — The Opus I Music Society will present a program of love songs at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mars Alliance Church, Route 228.The program will feature performances by club members, including a ladies' trio, Ginny Netchi on flute, Jeannie Allen on piano, Caitlin McConnell on cello and Margie Rinaman accompanying a sing-along.
