Butler Township — The Cancer Caring Center support group has announced that its meetings will now be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. the first and third Thursdays of each month at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 North Duffy Road.

Debra Flint, a licensed social worker and medical social worker, will facilitate the group.

VFW Auxiliary hosts tureen dinner

The VFW Post 249 Auxiliary will host a Christmas in February tureen dinner for its members at 6 p.m. Feb. 16 in the dining room of the post home, 429 W. Jefferson St.

Each member may take a guest. All participants should take a tureen to share. Chicken, rolls and table service will be provided.
