Teacher charged with assaulting teen
PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh Public Schools teacher nominated last year for an excellence in teaching award was charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy last summer.
Regis E. Kirby, 48, of Upper St. Clair Township, was arraigned Wednesday on charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault, corruption of minors, making terroristic threats and furnishing alcohol to minors.
