Butler County WPIAL football teams will feel the affects of conference realignments because of enrollment changes.
Pine-Richland has bumped up to Class AAAA and joins Butler, Seneca Valley, North Hills, North Allegheny and Shaler in the Northern Six.
Mars has bumped up to Class AAA and joins the Greater Allegheny Conference with Knoch, Franklin Regional, Hampton, Highlands and Indiana.
Summit Academy moves into the expanded Allegheny Conference in Class AA, joining Freeport, Apollo-Ridge, Burrell, Deer Lakes, Ford City, Kittanning, Shady Side Academy, Valley and West Shamokin.

PITTSBURGH — Evgeni Malkin, last season's NHL rookie of the year, will replace injured Penguins teammate Sidney Crosby as an Eastern Conference forward in the All-Star game Sunday in Atlanta.Malkin, a center on Russia's Olympic team two years ago, has 26 goals and 30 assists in 48 games this season. He is coming off two of the best games of his career, getting a combined three goals and an assist against Montreal on Saturday and Washington on Monday.
STATE COLLEGE — Penn State's Beaver Stadium is going "Fergalicious."The night before Joe Paterno opens his 43rd season as coach of the Nittany Lions, hip-hop singer Fergie will headline the first concert at Beaver Stadium.Fergie will perform April 18, and the annual Blue-White spring football scrimmage will be held the next afternoon at the stadium.
