John Negich, 85, of Delmont, Westmoreland County, died Sunday.

Born Oct. 10, 1922, in Export, Westmoreland County, he was a son of Nick and Nellie O'Donnell Negich.

He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and was honorably discharged as a sergeant.

Mr. Negich was an avid sportsman and bagged his last deer at the age of 84.

He was a good friend to many and a great father.

Surviving are two loving sons, John A. Negich and his wife, Paulette, of Butler and Gary W. Negich and his wife, Kim, of Laramie, Wyo.; three adored grandchildren, J. Brandon, Conan T. and Kylie A. Negich; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret Orange Negich; eight brothers, Tom Lapcevic and Nick, George, Robert, James, Hubert, Harry and Pete Negich; and three sisters, Mary Jackson, Anne Stevick and Violet Jurovic.

<B>NEGICH </B>— Friends of John Negich, who died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>WOLFE-VON GEIS FUNERAL HOME</B>, 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export, where services will be held at noon Wednesday with the Rev. D.C. Malich officiating.
