Benny

Margherita D. Benny, age 79, of Evans City, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at St. John's Specialty Care Center.

Born June 10, 1928, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Louisa (Ranallo) DelCimmuto. Mrs. Benny was a member of St. Killian Catholic Church and a former member of the women's club.

She attended nursing school and studied to be an LPN at Mount Chestnut Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, spending time with family and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel Benny of Evans City; her two daughters, Mrs. Margherita (Kenneth) King of Kittanning and Mary Louisa Benny of Rochester; a grandson, Thomas Frishkorn, and two granddaughters, Brittany Frishkorn and Alycia King.

Main St., Evans City.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Killian Catholic Church.
