Edinboro

Betty J. Edinboro, 76, of Butler died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at ConcordiaCare in Cabot.

Born Aug. 30, 1931, in Center Township, she was the daughter of Edward William and Amanda Mae Eagal Snyder.

She was a member of the Unionville Presbyterian Church. She loved to play cards and was an avid Steelers fan. She had worked as a LPN for Butler Veteran's Affairs Medical Center for 20 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Yvonne Dunkerley of Butler; two sons, Ernest Edward and Denis Dwight Edinboro, both of Slippery Rock; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters, and a sister, Mrs. Leland (Edna) Reddick of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Edinboro, who she married Sept. 20, 1950, and who died Aug. 8, 2003; two infant grandsons; two sisters, and four brothers.

Friends were received Wednesday at the Young Funeral Home. Services were Thursday at the Unionville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Matthew Kail officiating.
