Joseph R. Cavalero
Joseph R. Cavalero, 91, formerly of 200 Lincoln Ave., died Friday at the Sunnyview Home.
Born Oct. 8, 1916, in Butler, he was a son of Frank and Rose DeMaria Cavalero.
Mr. Cavalero had been a steward for the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 64 for more than 25 years until his retirement in 1985. He also worked for the former Town and Country Bar.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 117. He also was a life member of the Moose Lodge 64.
He was Roman Catholic.
Surviving are a son and a grandson, Robert R. Cavalero and Joseph F. Cavalero III, both of Butler; a great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
His wife, Virginia Rose Chiavaro Cavalero, whom he married Jan. 15, 1948, died April 29, 1990. A son, six brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death.
<B>CAVALERO</B> — There will be no visitation. Private funeral services for Joseph R. Cavalero, who died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, will be held at the convenience of the family.
