Thelma C. White, 84, of Murrysville, formerly of Mars, died Tuesday in Forbes Hospice in Pittsburgh.

She was born on Dec. 1, 1923, in Pittsburgh to David and Margaret Simon Crowley.

Mrs. White was a mother, grandmother and a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Linda Hegner of New Brighton, David White of Palo Alto, Calif., Eileen West of Boiling Springs, Pa., Beth Bakey of Hinesville, Ga., Norm White of Burke, Va., Margaret Madar of Murrysville, Herb White of Freedom and Sean White of Washington, D.C., and 15 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert S. White.
