William H. Hulings

William H. "Bill" Hulings, 57, of Slippery Rock died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born July 14, 1950, in Warren, Pa., he was the son of the late William G. and Irene Florence Ferry Hulings.

He owned and operated Bill's Auto Repair in Slippery Rock.

Mr. Hulings was a member of the Slippery Rock Jaycees, the National Rifle Association, the Thursday Evening Bowling League and the Odd Fellows, where he was Santa Claus for many years.

He formerly coached youth baseball for the Slippery Rock Park and had served on the Slippery Rock Borough Council.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Sopel Hulings; two daughters, Jennifer McCarl of Butler and Melissa Hulings of Slippery Rock; two sons, Quinn and Wyatt Hulings, both of Slippery Rock, and a granddaughter. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. James (Anna) Roher of Plain Grove, Carol Spencer of Slippery Rock and Mrs. Tim (Penny) Flowers of Grove City; and four brothers, Paul and Richard Hulings, both of Slippery Rock, Kirk Hulings of Florida and Monte Hulings of Slippery Rock.

<B>HULINGS</B> — Private services and burial for William H. "Bill" Hulings, who died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, will be at the convenience of the family.Arrangements are by the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, West Sunbury.
