Dorothy L. Weston
Dorothy L. "Dottie" Weston, 67, of East Brady Street died at 7 a.m. Saturday at her home.
Born June 19, 1940, in Kane, she was the daughter of and Geraldine Ordiway Carson and the late John Edward Carlson.
Mrs. Weston was a homemaker and had worked at the Gulf gasoline station and Pappan's Family Restaurant and was an in-home child care provider.
She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening and being with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Samuel Weston, whom she married Sept. 7, 1957; her mother of Kane; two sons, Jon Paul Weston and his wife, Barb, of Johnsonburg and Samuel Wayne Weston and his wife, Joyce, of Butler; two daughters, Jacqueline Suzanne Weston Puchnick and her husband, David, of Renfrew and Peggy Ann Weston of Butler; five grandsons, Steven Weston of North Carolina, Brandon and Samuel Weston, both of Butler, and Matthew and Luke Puchnick, both of Renfrew; two granddaughters, Stephanie Weston and Paige Leech, both of Butler; and a great-granddaughter, Lilly Weston of North Carolina.
Also surviving are a brother, John V. Carlson of Hernando, Fla., and a number of nieces and nephews.
<B>WESTON</B> — Friends of Dorothy L. "Dottie" Weston, who died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev.
