In memory of Betty I. Andre, who passed away 1 year ago.

It's been a year

since God took you from us.

It seems ever so long ago

since we saw your beautiful face.

Then there are times

it seems like yesterday,

Like when we can still see you

lying in that hospital bed.

We miss you terribly

but realize God needed you more.

We wander what for?

Because we are selfish and torn.

I had a dream

and you were in it.

Planting your flowers and walking without any pain.

This eased the pain for me

and I realized how selfish I had been.

I know you and Bill are now

both looking down on us all.

No longer suffering and reunited

with your family and friends,

that had gone home before you.

We love you and miss you so much.

What a wonderful Mother and yes a true Lady!
