Ruth C. Geibel, 86 of Meadowbrook Lane died at 6:17 p.m. Wednesday in ACMH Hospital.

Born in Butler on Jan. 12, 1921, she was the daughter of James C. and Mabel E. Rigby Cousins.

Mrs. Geibel had been an inspector for the Bobbie Brooks Clothing Co.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Mrs. Geibel is survived by three sons, Clarence C. "Butch" Geibel III of Timonium, Md., and David L. and Bernie F. Geibel, both of Butler; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Brewster of Butler, Mrs. Cecelia Fennell of Brasher Falls, N.Y., and Mrs. Joseph (Jessie) Cavaliero of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Geibel, who died Oct. 5, 1993; two sisters; and two brothers.
