Amy M. Birnley
Amy M. Birnley, 84, a 52-year resident of Sunset Avenue in Grove City, died at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday in the emergency room at the Grove City Medical Center.
Born in Kenmore, Ohio, May 15, 1923, she was the daughter of Charles and Naomi Armstrong King.
She was a homemaker and a member of the East Main Presbyterian Church, Grove City.
Surviving are three daughters, Sarah Purvis of Saxonburg, Judy Crum of Grove City and Sandy Lenglands of Barrie, Ontario; four brothers, Paul King of Washington, Joseph King of Greenville, David King of Ephrata, Lancaster County, and Arthur King of State College; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Kenneth Merle Birnley, who she married in November 1939, died Nov. 30, 1978. She also was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
<B>BIRNLEY</B> — Friends of Amy M. Birnley, who died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave, Grove City. Services will follow at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Shaughnessy, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church of Grove City, officiating. Burial will be at the Crestview Memorial Park, Grove City.
