Sally Lou Neumann Baird, 73, of Richard Township died Tuesday at UPMC Passavant hospital, McCandless Township.

Born April 8, 1934, in O'Hara Township, she was the daughter of Leonard E. and Emma Ferber Neumann.

She was a member of Hampton Presbyterian Church

She married David J. Baird on Oct. 23, 1954, and they enjoyed 53 years together. She also is survived by sons David L. (Cheryl) Baird of Mars and Daniel G (Nicole) Baird of Butler; and a grandchild, Timothy Daniel Baird of Mars.

Also surviving are her sisters, Nancy Eisengart of O'Hara Township, Donna Howe of Richland Township, Cathy Pavan of Connecticut and Betsy Bohnert of Mars.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Joseph Jr., who died in 1959.
