Mario Marricco, 69, of Carrington Avenue died at 2:50 a.m. Saturday at UPMC Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Nov. 13, 1938, in Salavacava, Italy, he was the son of the late Luciano and Pasqualina Attanasio Marricco.

Mr. Marricco was the owner of Winky's Restaurant, the Jolly Roger Drive-In and several Mister Donuts and Dunkin Donuts.

He was an avid accordion player, stained glass artist, author and entrepreneur.

He enjoyed showing antique Jaguars, landscaping, gardening and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Mitzi Todorich Marricco, to whom he was married for 46 years; a daughter, Eleanor Christopher and her husband, James, of Hempfield Township; a brother, John Marricco and his wife, Audrey, of Fox Chapel; two sisters, Vincie Piccolino and her husband, Alex, of Murrysville and Lena Piccolino and her husband, Anthony, of Gibsonia, and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

<B>MARRICCO</B>— Friends of Mario Marricco, who died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Molnar, pastor of Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church (USA), officiating.
