John R. Ramelli

John R. Ramelli, 92, of Butler died Sunday at Sunnyview Home.

Born July 21, 1915, in Rociolo, Italy, he was the son of Nicola and Maria Marini Ramelli.

He worked at Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad as a track foreman. He retired in 1974 after 42 years.

He served in the Army during World War II.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lee Cavalero of Butler, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers.

<B>RAMELLI</B> — Friends of John R. Ramelli, who died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the<B> Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A blessing service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Dolan, pastor of St. Michael the Archangel, officiating. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.
