Richard C. Kline II, 58, of East Butler died at 6:55 p.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 19, 1948, in Butler, the son of the late Richard Clarence Kline and Wilma Horton Kline of East Butler.

He was an Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church and the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club.

He had worked at Callery Chemical and MSA.

He enjoyed golfing and hunting.

Survivors include two daughters, Heather Kline of Prospect and Mrs. Elvia (Carrie) Major of Butler; a son, Richard Kline III of Butler; his mother of Butler; seven grandchildren, Desiree Kline, Jeremiah Raisor, twins Courtney and Harmony Raisor, Kyle Major, and twins Jacob and Nathaniel Chambers; five sisters, Mrs. John (Deborah) Wienshienk of Flatwood, Ky., Mrs. Ron (Barbara) Hankey of Jefferson, Pa., Mrs. Randy (Janet) Tarr of Charleston, W.Va., Elaine Kline of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Tony (Rebecca) Leon of Bruin, and two brothers, James Kline of Kabul, Afghanistan, and Daniel Kline of King, N.C.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Cissy" Kline, who died Nov. 25, 2001, and a brother, Gary Kline.

<B>KLINE</B> — Friends of Richard C. Kline II, who died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, </B>127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Dr., Butler, with the Rev. Richard Jenks officiating.
