Jack C. Warren Sr., 78, of Kittanning Street died at 8:27 a.m. Tuesday at his home.

He was born Aug. 24, 1929, in Butler.

He was a painter for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. He retired Aug. 24, 1984.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Kuciak Warren, whom he married Oct. 8, 1948; two daughters and their husbands, Kathleen and Robert Prementine and Paula and Doug Barto, all of Butler, one son, Jack C. Warren, Jr. of Chicora; six grandchildren, Beth Chelton of Texas, Jason Prementine of Butler, Jack Barto of Butler, Mike Barto of Butler, Rebecca Huff of Bruin, and Jessica Bell of Butler, and six great-grandchildren.
