Doris L. Lawrence, 92, of Harrisville died at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday at Autumn Grove Care Center.

She was born July 5, 1915, in West Elizabeth, Allegheny County, the daughter of Curtis L. and Gertrude Rennie Shearer.

She was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Butler and the Buco Club, and she enjoyed traveling.

Surviving are her son, Wayne K. Lawrence and his wife, Shirley, of Butler; four grandchildren, Lorraine Shaffer, Dawn Link, and Dean Lawrence, all of Butler, and Kenneth Lawrence of Jacksonville, Fla., and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, King A. Lawrence, whom she married July 26, 1937. He died April 5, 1994. She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
