Dean A. Risch, 80, of Sarver died Monday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Sept. 30, 1927, in Sarver, he was the son of Alvin J. and Florence I. (Macurdy) Risch.

He retired as postmaster at the Sarver Post Office, and he had developed the house number address system for Butler County's emergency management system.

Mr. Risch was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the Bullcreek United Presbyterian Church. He was secretary/treasurer of the Sarverville Cemetery Association and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the National Association of Postmasters of the United States.

Surviving are his wife, Lois Mae (Stark) Risch, whom he married April 21, 1951; two sons, Bradley J. (Deborah) Risch of Newtown Square and Barry L. (Kathy) Risch of Sarver; a granddaughter, Tatum Elizabeth Risch; two brothers, Lee (Bonnie) Risch of Saxonburg and Loyd (Pat) Risch of Grove City; two sisters, Nita (Al) Cypher of New Bethlehem and Florence "Flossie" Purdum of Woodland Hills, Calif.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding him in death were two sisters, June Maizland and Joan "Sis" Mann, and a brother, Ralph M. Risch.

<B>RISCH</B> — Friends of Dean A. Risch, who died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg. Services will be held Friday at the funeral home.
