Nancy L. Disher
Nancy L. Disher, 64, of Mars, formerly of Butler and Pros-pect, died Wednesday afternoon at her home.
Born in Union-ville, Center Township, Sept. 13, 1943, she was the daughter of Frederick and Helen Stubenbordt.
She was a licensed practical nurse at the Sunnyview Home and was a member of the Sunnyview Auxiliary.
Mrs. Disher was a member and deacon at Mars United Presbyterian Church. She was a volunteer for the Salvation Army and belonged to the Tri-County Country and Western Association in Butler and the Mars Women's Club. She also belonged to many quilting clubs.
Surviving are her husband, John E. Disher, whom she married Oct. 27, 2001; a daughter, Linda Jones of Butler; a son, Gary Jones and his wife, Jennifer, of Lewisbury; a stepson, John Disher and his wife, Patricia, of Butler; and two stepdaughters, Diane Connelly and her husband, Rich, of Cranberry Township and Shelly Roberts and her husband, Roy, of Pittsburgh. She was the grandmother of Sarah, Luke, Trenton, Marceil, Mark, Megan, Emily, Josh, Nathan and Roy.
She was preceded in death by four sisters.
