Steven R. Saeler

Steven R. Saeler, 50, of Butler died unexpectedly of natural causes Saturday morning in the emergency room at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler, Oct. 4, 1957, he was the son of Beverly E. Saeler Charpentier and the late Raymond H. Saeler.

He was an auto repairman and worked for Gregory Bitter Auto Body Repair and Cochran Automotive.

Mr. Saeler attended Thorn Creek Methodist church.

Surviving are three sons, Steven, Jason and Matthew Saeler, all of Butler; his companion, Lori Schnur of Butler; his mother of Butler; his stepfather, A.J. "Phil" Charpentier of Butler; and two grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Sharon Saeler Valent of Butler; seven brothers, Raymond Saeler of Chicora, Kenneth Saeler of Slippery Rock and Richard, Daniel, Randall, Timothy and Michael Saeler, all of Butler; several nieces and nephews; three stepbrother, and three stepsisters.

<B>SAELER </B>— Friends of Steven R. Saeler, who died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Curtis Knobel, pastor of Thorn Creek Methodist Church, officiating.
