Carol A. "Kit" Craig, 72, of West Sunbury Road, Boyers, died at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Grove City Medical Center after a long illness.

Born in Marion Township, Sept. 13, 1935, she was a daughter of Arthur Lynch and Mabel Chambers.

She lived in the Boyers area her entire life and was a graduate of the Grove City High School

Mrs. Craig was a life member of the Boyers United Methodist Church. She was very active in the church, and along with her husband, she worked with the Meals on Wheels program affiliated with the church. She also worked with the Thrift Store operated by the church.

She had been a registered nurse for more than 43 years. She graduated in 1956 from the Oil City Hospital Nursing School. After graduating, she worked at the Bashline Memorial Hospital in Grove City for 10 years. She then worked at the Mercer Osteopathic Clinic for 23 years and at the Family Health Care Practice in Grove City for 10 years.

She enjoyed quilting. She was very active in community projects, but her love of family was always a priority.

Surviving are her husband, Donald J. Craig, whom she married Oct. 6, 1956; a son, Timothy D. "Tim" Craig of Suffolk, Va.; a sister, Opal Bollinger and her husband, Dean, of Boyers; and a brother, David Lynch and his wife, Velma, of Grove City.

A brother, Gaylord Lynch, preceded her in death.

<B>CRAIG </B>— Friends of Carol A. "Kit" Craig, who died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home</B>, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kathy Soltis, her church pastor, officiating.
