Nicholas J. Luke, 75, a 50-year resident of Slippery Rock, died Oct. 31 in an accident at his home.

Born April 9, 1932, in Forestville, he was the son of Nickola M. and Amelia Zaborski Luke.

He retired as a machinist at Cooper Energy in Grove City. He was an avid trapper.

Mr. Luke served in the Army during the Korean War and belonged to the Harrisville American Legion.

He attended the Slippery Rock Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Debra J. (Kevin) Thompson of Boyers; a son, Steve N. (Tammy) Luke of Daytona Beach, Fla.; four sisters, Amelia Bump of Bensalem, Bucks County, Katherine Tirk of Harrisville, Helen Graham of Warren, Pa., and Virginia Vagas of Gibsonia; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan N. Luke; three sisters, Barbara Crnkovich, Mary Lauer and Anna Baillie, and two brothers, John and Stephen Luke.

<B>LUKE </B>— There will be no visitation. A memorial service for Nicholas J.
