Harold A. Willig
Harold A. Willig, 76, of Middletown, Dauphin County, entered into eternal rest Sunday at his home.
His wife, Barbara A. Goehring Willig, died earlier the same day.
He was the son of Joseph and Helen Putt Willig.
Mr. Willig retired from the former New Cumberland Army Depot and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Christ Church United Church of Christ, Elizabethtown. He also belonged to the Harrisburg Lodge 0629 F&AM., Zembo Shriners, A.A.O.N.M.S. of Harrisburg and the Berks County Merry Wanderers M.I. Hummel Club.
He is survived by two brothers, Robert P. and his wife, Nerrissa Willig of Mechanicsburg and Wallace P. and his wife, Louise Willig of Bluffton S.C.; a sister, Dorcas C. Baumbach of Middletown; several nieces and nephews, and a cousin.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Alice A. Dean.

Willig, who died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Matinchek and Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services</B>, 260 E. Main St., Middletown. A tribute to his life will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Carol Bender and Rev. Fred Young, his pastors, officiating. Entombment will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Zelienople Community Mausoleum.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3211 N. Front St., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
