Shirley,

Usually I am good with words, but as the second year that you're not here with us on your birthday comes, I am at loss for words. It doesn't seem real. Again this year, we will go to your favorite restaurant to celebrate the twenty-three years you were with us. We were blessed to have you for so long and it seems greedy, but I wish it was longer. We were supposed to get old together, but I guess nobody expects the unexpected, and as I am pregnant for the second time, I'm starting to believe God took you for a reason, to watch over my children and to give me strength to go on without you. So happy 25th birthday Shirl, I love you and will miss you forever!
