Elizabeth Brozda

Elizabeth Jane Brozda, 72, of Wilkinsburg died at 9:20 a.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 9, 1934, in Homewood, she was the daughter of Lee Albert Price and Elizabeth Ann Sager.

Mrs. Brozda was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. James Church in Pittsburgh.

She was active in politics, church life and her family.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Frank Brozda, whom she married May 22, 1954; three sons, Joseph and Bridget Brozda, John and Donna Brozda and Paul Brozda; five daughters, Elizabeth Alexander, Mary Ann and Mac Grant, Joanne and Richard Pugliese, Theresa and Enrico Clendenning and Louise and Jim Pyles; 18 grandchildren, Nichoele Hall, Rachelle Brozda, Aimee Davis, Sarah, Adam and Stephanie Brozda, Christopher Alexander, Joseph and Blaine Fazio, Christa Holt, Suzanna and Nathaniel Pugliese, Johanna, Christian, Grace and Erika Clendenning and Morgan and James Pyles; and four great-grandchildren, Bredin Fazio, Meykah and Niyah Hall and Eli Davis.

She also is survived by a brother, Earl Price; two sisters, Mary Sines and Florence Curry; nine nieces, and three nephews.

<B>BROZDA </B>— Friends of Elizabeth Jane Brozda, who died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Harry Bielewicz, V.F., officiating. Burial follow at the North Side Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, PA 16001.Members of the St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 9:35 a.m. Friday at the churchInformation and private guest book are available at www.thompson-miller.com.
