Robert J. McClean, 72, of Saxonburg, formerly of Allison Park and Bonita Springs, Fla., died Wednesday at St. Margaret Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 2, 1935, in Greensburg, he was the son of Harold J. and Evelyn E. Eversman McClean.

He served in the Army Special Forces, and he retired in 1992 as a construction manager at Bell Telephone after 37 years.

Mr. McClean enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Katharine Schove McClean; three daughters, Beth Perkovich of Ridgeway, Colo., Barbie Kelly of Kansas City, Mo., and Amy Docherty of Valencia; a sister, Jean Guca of McCandless Township, and eight grandchildren.
