Theodore "Ted" Kinzler, 78, of New Sewickley Township, Beaver County, passed away Sunday at Ellwood City Hospital following an extended illness.

Ted was born Aug. 3, 1929, in Monaca, a son of the late Joseph and Wilhelmina (Simpson) Kinzler.

He retired as a certified union electrician from the local IBEW.

Ted was a social member of the Unionville American Legion Post 512; the Hungarian Beneficial Society; and a life member of the Moose Lodge in Harmony.

In his leisure, Ted enjoyed attending and participating in car cruises. He loved camping and gardening; but his greatest passion was taking in old bicycles and restoring them like new.

In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou, this past August; a son, Thomas W. Kinzler; and his sister, Mary Lou McGarvey.

Ted is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Diane and Jack Martin of Forsyth, Ga.; two step- daughters, Rose Ann Ritter of Franklin Township; and Mary Lou Lang of Prospect; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two nieces who visited him faithfully: Bridget Morrell of Michigan and Margaret Bramer of Indiana; and other loving nieces and nephews.

<B>KINZLER </B>— Friends of Theodore "Ted" Kinzler, who died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>GABAUER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 273 Route 68, Rochester, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Clyde of New Sewickley Presbyterian Church officiating. Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.If desired, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
