Garnet Dice Reed, 86, of 146 Newhaven Lane died at 3:45 p.m. Monday at Sunnyview Home.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth NisslyReed, whom he married Dec. 31, 1945; two daughters, Darlene L. Reed and Teresa G. Miller, both of Butler; a grandson, Aaron R. Miller of Frankfurt, Germany; a granddaughter, Christine E. Miller of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Martha Sollenberger, Mary Wingert and Ruth Heffner, all of Chambersburg; and two brothers, Abram R. and John C. Reed, both of Chambersburg.
